They're scaling. Fast. And they’re searching for a Staff Software Engineer who thrives in ambiguity, owns their code, and knows how to take a chunky, back-end data challenge and turn it into something sleek, scalable, and beautiful.
This is a hands-on, back-end engineering role - deep in the world of .NET Core, AWS, and SQ. You’ll help lead the architecture and build systems that can stand up to serious volume, while shaping engineering culture from within.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Architect & build: Design cloud-native systems that make light work of heavy data.
• Evangelise engineering: Be a technical thought leader & champion best practice and raise the bar.
• Keep it simple: Translate messy complexity into usable, performant systems.
• Work at scale: Think resilience, performance, and observability from day one.
• Collaborate & influence: Partner with engineers, product leads, and stakeholders to build the right things… faster.
• Mentor & guide: Share what you know, support others, and build confidence in the team around you.
What You’ll Bring
• Proven backend engineering experience with C# and .NET Core
• Real-world experience deploying in AWS (or similar cloud environments)
• Strong grounding in SQL and handling large-scale datasets
• You’ve shipped APIs, built scalable architectures, and thrive in high-volume environments
• You bring a product mindset: you're curious, outcome-driven, and you care about the "why"
• Bonus: You’ve worked with event-driven or distributed systems
