Founder & Consultant | AI, Data & Technology Leadership

Hey, I'm Jay. I’ve had the privilege of partnering with businesses that are shaping our tomorrow: whether its start-ups, scale-ups, or global conglomerates. 

Outside of work: Im a Dad, a Husband, a Rugby Coach & Dog Dad. I love my football, rugby, golf & gym - and absoltuely adore my time with the wife and kid on his sporting adventures!

Interesting Fact: I have an MSc in Exercise Genomics (Genetic Science) - something that comes in REALLY handy with recruitment!

Meet Angus

Consultant | Data & AI Engineering (Contract)

I'm Angus, formally of Northampton, then Sheffield and now sunny Manchester. I have built a reputation for hiring contractors to deliver data projects. My market spans from data engineers, analysts, architects and data leads. I have delivered multiple project teams for Fabric, Databricks and Snowflake projects. A fun fact about me is I can name every Monarch from 1066 in order, not sure how, why, or what relevance it has to my job.

Meet Finbar

Delivery Consultant | Data & AI Engineering

My names Finbar, I've lived in Manchester for almost 7 years now and before meeting Jay and joining Dcoded, I was a bartender.

I've got a degree in journalism; I know what you're thinking that's come in handy for my job in recruitment... I began my journey specialising in permanent data hiring in the UK and now have become more delivery focused, working across data, engineering, and AI. 

A fun fact about me is that I've hit 16 180's on a dartboard, despite a recent slump I'm aiming for 20+ by the end of 2026 - will keep you posted as things develop. 
 

Meet Arthur

Consultant | Data & AI Engineering (Contract)

Home has never been in one place. I was born in London, schooled in South Africa, and now settling in Manchester. Off the clock, I'm an avid Chelsea FC and Springboks fan. On the weekends, you'll probably find me in a Manchester bar watching one of these teams. On the professional side of things, I specialise in contract data recruitment, connecting top tier Data and AI talent with consultancies and their end-clients nationwide. Fun fact about me? Besides the fact that I'd lived in 6 different cities by the age of 23, before recruitment I was a football journalist, and I was nominated for a Football Content Award (FCA), recognised industry wide as one of football media's top honour. 

Meet George

Consultant | AI & Technology Engineering

Hey, I’m George. I specialise in building AI, Engineering & Data teams, with an emphasis towards fintechs, financial institutions and AI businesses across the UK.

Outside of work, I’m a huge basketball fan, both playing the sport, and completely ruining my sleep schedule to watch the Bulls get beaten yet again…worth it! I’m also passionate about investing, fashion, music, and gaming.

Interesting fact about me: I’m the best looking out of my 7 siblings, with a modelling contract to back it up! Thank you, mum! 
 

Meet Bruno

Chief Happiness Officer (CHO)

Im Bruno... And I am integral to the sales culture here at dcoded.

I require many walks, plenty of attention and laps to lay on.

I enjoy eating food off the floor at lunch time, and giving the team 'love puffs'...

I am assured that I am a 'Good Boy' - and absolutely love coming to work with Dad when mum is too busy!
